How To Fix Facebook Thumbnail Image Issue: Method 1

Go to Facebook URL Debugger. (Facebook debug tool is also called Facebook Linter).

Now, paste the link into the required field under Sharing Debugger.

Then click the Debug button.

Under Link Preview, notice that no image was showing.

Proceed to click on the Scrape Again option under Time Scraped.

After scraping the link, if you still face the same issue, click on Scrape Again once again. Repeat this step until you get the thumbnail image.

In most cases, within two scrapes we'll get the thumbnail as shown below:

Copy the link and go to your Facebook profile page or fan page/group.

Paste the link to make a post.

You can try a link shortener to get the image thumbnail for the Facebook link. One of the best link shorteners is Bitly.

Go to https://bitly.com.

Paste the link in the given field. It will automatically shorten the URL.

Click on the Copy button.

Use the shortened link for sharing the link on Facebook with an image thumbnail.
