  • Go to Format > Insert > Shapes.

How to Give Picture Styles

Images without frames or styles may give a boring look. For slideshows in PPT, the default styles like rectangle and portrait pictures give you an old fashioned-look. You could add some spicy styles to your images in PPT. I would recommend some awesome styles for your pictures. They are:

1. Metal frame.

2. Drop shadow rectangle.

3. Rounded diagonal corner.

4. Beveled oval.

5. Rotated.

To add any of these styles,

  • Go to Format > Picture Styles.

How to Change the Border Color of Picture Styles

Now, you've added a beautiful style to your picture. The Picture style might be either white/metallic or black borders.

So, to add a suitable border color,

  • Under Format > Choose Picture Border.

How to Add Text to an Image

Slideshows without Text won't give much meaning. To match an image to a particular situation, Texts can help to convey better meaning.

To add Text,

  • Go to Format > Insert > Text Box.

Add text icon

After clicking the Text Box,

  • Click on the image where you want to insert text.
  • Add a meaningful text.
Here, you can change the font type, size, and color of the text.

Conclusion

Editing images in PPT is really fun and easy. If you rely on paint for editing images, you should try PowerPoint to enhance the quality of the image. After editing the image, run a slideshow to see the output. Once the editing process is completed, save the image file.
